Due to changes in the calculation of State Aid, Burrillville will be confronted with many hard budgetary choices in the coming years. My six years of experience on the Town's Budget Board have provided me with the background and knowledge necessary to meet these challenges in a manner that will  maintain the services currently provided to Burrillville  residents without costly tax increases. The lack of a tax increase for 2002-2003 is due in part to the recommendations of the Budget Board. My research and efforts on the Budget Board were an important contribution to its' success.
